Founded with Purpose
Total Companion Home Care Agency was founded by Vickie Long, a dedicated advocate for compassionate, dependable, and high-quality care. Her passion for serving others began through her own personal experiences caring for and supporting aging loved ones, including her mother. These experiences gave her a firsthand understanding of the importance of dignity, independence, and compassionate assistance for seniors and individuals who wish to remain safely in the comfort of their own homes.
After spending time away from Sumter, South Carolina, Vickie returned to her hometown and quickly recognized a growing need for reliable, personalized home care services within the community. She saw many seniors, Veterans, and adults with disabilities who needed additional support to maintain their quality of life while continuing to live independently. Inspired by these needs and driven by a genuine desire to make a difference, she established Total Companion Home Care Agency.
